Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month!

Next week Thursday marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month, which is observed from Sept. 15 until Oct. 15. This month serves to honor the cultures and contributions of the U.S. Latinx and Hispanic communities, recognizing how these communities have influenced American society.

Sept. 15 was chosen as the starting point for the commemoration to coincide with the independence day of five Hispanic countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua, who all declared independence in 1821. Other Latin American countries also declared independence from Spain in mid-September, including Mexico which celebrates its independence Sept.16.

To connect and get involved with Hispanic real estate professionals, check out The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) organization and/or the NAHREP Seattle chapter.

Keep an eye out for a social graphic and email campaign you can use to share Hispanic Heritage Month with your clients.
