Several John L. Scott team members attended the Auction of Washington Wines Winemaker Picnic & Barrel at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, Saturday August 16. The John L. Scott Foundation was a premier sponsor for this event that raised over $4M for three beneficiaries: Seattle Children’s, WSU Viticulture & Enology, and Vital Wines.
This year marked the 38th year in the Auction of Washington Wines’ relationship with Seattle Children’s, with proceeds from the Gala going to funding uncompensated care for families in need.
Funds raised also continue to help fund vital research at Washington State’s Viticulture & Enology program focused on sustainability, vine and soil health, and adapting vineyards to climate challenges.
