Auction of Washington Wines raises $4.25M for charitable causes

Several members of John L. Scott attended the Auction of Washington Wines Winemaker Picnic & Barrel at Chateau Ste Michelle located in Woodinville, WA on Friday, August 9. The John L. Scott Foundation was a premier sponsor for this event that raised an incredible $4.25M for three beneficiaries: Seattle Children’s, WSU Viticulture & Enology, and Vital Wines.

“This special weekend has shined a spotlight on the camaraderie and unity within the Washington wine industry,” says Jamie Peha, executive director of the Auction of Washington Wines. “The Auction of Washington Wines is deeply appreciative for the incredible support of the vintners, chefs, volunteers, sponsors, our generous bidders, and our hosts, Sparkman Cellars and Chateau Ste Michelle.”
