Client Connectivity: Nothing to Wine about

(L to R): Redmond brokers Shirley Kimmel, Nathalie Boss, Xia Zhao, Guests sampling the wines on offer

JLS Redmond Office Participates in Redmond Town Center Wine Walk

On a balmy August evening, hundreds of eager wine aficionado’s wandered through Redmond Town Center sampling wares from multiple wine makers located in Washington state. Joining in the fun was the John L. Scott Redmond office, whose location in the shopping center was a big draw for the many visitors.

Redmond broker Shirley Kimmel, who volunteered for the event with fellow brokers Nathalie Boss and Xia Zhao, enjoyed an extra bonus beyond socializing. “I was interested in the wine walk because it was a chance to connect with local people who may not be familiar with our John L. Scott office or even know that we are available to help them with their real estate questions or needs,” she explained.

Shirley joined JLS Redmond in June of 2022 and has been a real estate broker for just over a year.  As such, she’s eager to find new ways to connect with potential clients.

“It was a full evening of great conversations with people,” she said. “I did have four parties who willingly gave me their contact information and asked if I would let them know of specific types of properties that came available on the market. In following up with them, three have responded to me and clarified some questions.”

Dan Wingard, OL of the Redmond office, agreed the event was a great success.

“We are in an ideal location for this,” said Dan. “We consistently look for ways we can engage with the community as volunteers who genuinely care about people and relationships. From that place we earn the right and others have the desire to connect with us when real estate needs arise.”
