‘The Goonies’ house listed by JLS broker Jordan Miller is now pending

A home showcased in the iconic 1985 Steven Spielberg movie “The Goonies” has hit the market for $1.65 million.

The two-story Victorian house, situated in Astoria in northwest Oregon along the scenic Pacific Coast, was listed by John L. Scott Real Estate nearly 40 years after “The Goonies” popularized the home as a tourist attraction and local phenomenon.

In “The Goonies” – created from a story by Spielberg and directed by Richard Donner, who also directed “Superman” – characters Mikey (Sean Astin) and his big brother Brandon (Josh Brolin) lived in the house in a fictionalized neighborhood called “Goondocks.”
