Appliance maintenance? Who has the time?

This is a guest post from our partners at Old Republic Home Protection.

When was the last time your clients drained their hot water heater? Without the proper routine maintenance, systems and appliances could kick the bucket earlier than they should… And fixing them could cost a pretty penny! That is, unless your clients have a home warranty from Old Republic Home Protection.

Like all home warranties, ORHP does not cover routine maintenance. But we do cover systems and appliances that fail due to lack of routine maintenance.* For example, if your client’s air conditioner fails because of a dirty evaporator coil, we’ll fix it!

Common examples of routine maintenance include changing air conditioning filters seasonally or to manufacturer specifications, cleaning the bottom of the dishwasher to prevent clogging, washing under and behind the refrigerator, and more. It’s best to err on the side of caution, so clean systems and appliances regularly.

Maintaining home systems and appliances is critical to their longevity. But if they do break down because of inadequate maintenance, ORHP has your clients covered!*
