On Thursday, Sept. 20, John L. Scott’s Shelton office held a grand re-opening event to celebrate the office’s recent growth and leadership changes. Along with office staff and brokers, John L. Scott’s Chairman and CEO, J. Lennox Scott attended the ribbon-cutting and open house, as well as local Shelton councilmembers and commissioners.
The previous office owner and designated broker of the Shelton office, Kristy Buck has shifted back into a role primarily selling real estate, and the new owners of the office are Jamie Mell and Ryan Wheaton. Jamie Mell will serve as the office’s active day-to-day leader as designated broker and co-owner. Her career with the John L. Scott Shelton office began in 2013, when she joined the office as the Office Manager. Now, she’s co-owner of the office of 10 brokers and two office staff members. The office will be bringing another agent onto the team by the end of the month, and Jamie is actively recruiting more brokers to the team.
Along with the personnel changes, the building itself has gotten a bit of a facelift on the interior and exterior, with a new sign, fresh paint and new furniture.
