These Seattle-area towns are the fastest-growing wealthy suburbs in America

Despite high housing prices, the population has grown in several Seattle suburbs over the past few years, making them among the fastest growing wealthy suburbs in the country.

MoveBuddha analyzed home values and population growth of U.S. suburbs to determine which wealthy suburbs gained the most residents between 2017 and 2022. Suburbs where the average home value is greater than $750,000 were considered “wealthy suburbs.”

Redmond ranked No. 1 overall — although the average home is valued at over $1.36 million, the area’s population has grown 18.13% since 2017.

Redmond was followed by Shoreline, which ranked No. 14 overall. The population there has grown 5.47%, with an average home value of $783,363.
