Seattle Real Producers Profile: Brotherly love turns into real estate success

In this article, the Kiel brothers share how they got into the real estate industry and their approach to building business and staying in the game.

Connectivity to stay top of mind is a key strategy for the brothers. “A lot of people forget about this part after they sell someone a house,” says Nick. “We have people on a system after they close a deal with us. It sends postcards on their birthdays and home anniversaries, sends the market reports, and reminds us to call and check in with them every three months. Just different little touches.”

They also invest a lot of time in cold calling. “You try all this other random stuff that doesn’t work out, and then realize you had started where you should have stayed,” Alex said. “It’s the stuff you really don’t want to do, but the stuff that all the top producers are getting the most business from. You want to talk to the most amount of people, because the more people you talk to, the more business you will get.”
