John L. Scott brokers featured in Travel + Leisure’s “10 Best Places to Live in Washington, According to Local Real Estate Experts”

There is no shortage of idyllic communities in the Evergreen state, and a number of JLS brokers were featured in the Travel + Leisure article singing the praises of island life, suburban bliss, mountain vistas and everything in between.

Bellevue Main broker Eric Dang recommended the Eastgate neighborhood in Bellevue for it’s “excellent schools, easy access to downtown, and great value for the price.”  Mercer Island office broker Lori Holden Scott celebrated the island’s diverse architectural landscape, while JLS Woodinville’s Chelsey Samonte praised the suburban oasis’s lush neighborhoods and top tier schools.

Caron Anderson, a broker with John L. Scott’s Bainbridge Island office, mentioned the island’s eclectic home styles. “Most of the homes are Pacific Northwest-style home of natural wood, embracing nature and the beauty of the Pacific-Northwest,” she said. Cheryl Keefe, another John L. Scott broker, focused on the special character of her Island base. “Whidbey Island is one of the most unique places on Earth,” she said. “You are surrounded by natural beauty from the Salish Sea to the towering forest.”

Spokane’s many hiking and biking trails, over 70 lakes, a dozen golf courses, plus wineries and winter resorts are all reasons for making the Eastern Washington city a great place to call home. John L. Scott Spokane broker Marissa Lewis is happy to point out it’s also more affordable than many other cities in the state.

In total, six of the 10 best places featured recommendations from John L. Scott brokers.
