John L. Scott Salem brokers Alex McCarthy and Margaret Hakim recently joined lenders and staff from Academy Mortgage to volunteer their time at the Marion Polk Food Share in Salem, Oregon. During their time there, they bagged fruits and vegetables and then filled boxes with food items to be distributed to families in need in their community.
McCarthy said, “Volunteering with Marion Polk Foodshare was great! They are very dedicated to helping our community, and exemplify what it means to live life as a contribution.”
