Free in September: NAR’s Real Estate Safety Matters course

In celebration of REALTOR® Safety Month, the Safety Matters course is now free until Thursday, Sept. 30!

Developed in partnership with NAR’s REALTOR® Safety Program, the Real Estate Safety Matters course teaches you how to limit risk and increase safety for yourself and your clients. Through this course you will learn how to:

  • Follow safety best practices when showing a property, conducting an open house, working in the office, and driving alone or with clients or customers
  • Quickly assess a potentially dangerous situation and take appropriate action
  • Safeguard your own and your clients’ personal data, as well as practice prudent use of social media and mobile phone technology
  • Encourage all agents and employees to follow safety best practices and company safety policies

Once completed, agents will receive three credit hours. For more details on the score needed to pass, number of attempts allowed and the CE expiration date for your state, visit the Safety Matters webpage.
