John L. Scott Kitsap County offices recently did another round of food bank drives for local Kitsap County organizations. Nearly 6,000 pounds of food was collected, along with $4,053 in cash donations across the four participating offices (Poulsbo, Port Orchard, Kingston and Silverdale).

The John L. Scott Port Orchard office’s food drive supported the South Kitsap Helpline, a non-profit organization that serves South Kitsap County children, adults and senior citizens in need. In total, more than 3,300 pounds of food donations, and just over $1500 in cash donations were collected by John L. Scott Port Orchard.

John L. Scott Silverdale held their drive on Oct. 24 and 25, with brokers dressing up in Halloween costumes to promote a bit of  “normalcy” and spread some cheer, office leader Stephen Shepard said.
