Alisha Harrison is elected 2021 First Vice President for Washington REALTORS

Alisha Harrison, an agent with the John L. Scott office in Belfair, Washington, was elected to the position of 2021 First Vice President for Washington REALTORS last month. This position, which was created a couple of years ago, is the first of three successive positions intended to prepare leaders for the eventual role of Washington REALTORS President. In 2023, Alisha is slated to serve in the President role of the organization.

Alisha said she is extremely honored to be elected to the First Vice President position, adding that this is “a role I do not take lightly.” In past years, her primary leadership experience with Washington REALTORS is centered around government affairs and RPAC. Looking ahead to her new leadership role, Alisha said in addition to advocacy work, she looks forward to furthering the efforts around fair housing and diversity in the industry.

“As REALTORS®, we do more than sell houses: we help people achieve the ‘American Dream’ of homeownership and build generational wealth,” said Alisha Harrison. “You can help our industry stay viable for decades to come by being engaged in your REALTOR® association, at the local, state, or national level. We are a volunteer-led organization, and I urge all brokers to be involved to some degree. I find it to be both personally and professionally rewarding, and I imagine you will, too.”
