Blood drive among John L. Scott Vancouver’s philanthropic efforts

John L. Scott Vancouver brokers and staff gather after donating blood for Bloodworks Northwest.

John L. Scott’s Vancouver office hosted a blood drive for Bloodworks Northwest on Nov. 29. As part of the drive, the office registered 16 whole blood donors and collected 11 units, which translates to helping about 33 patients in the southwest Washington community!

In addition to John L. Scott Vancouver’s blood drive, the office is still collecting food and toys for Santa’s Posse, a partnership between the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the local community, aimed at collecting and distributing toys and food for less fortunate families. Year round, brokers Christi Mangner and Amy Wells are very active with helping out the homeless population in Vancouver. Christi and Amy show up at homeless camps and grill up hamburgers and hot dogs, give out bottles of water and other necessities to those in need.
