John L. Scott Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. has brought on Howard Chung as the company’s Vice President of Franchise Development and Operations. Though this role, which is responsible for leading the company’s affiliate offices, is new to Chung, he brings years of experience working at John L. Scott and in the wider industry to the position.
Chung’s career in the John L. Scott Real Estate family of companies totals more than 13 years, and he has previously served as a broker and owner of the Mukilteo franchisee office and Vice President of Residential Operations and Vice President of Broker Excellence for John L. Scott, Inc. This experience spanned a range of areas – from work at the franchisee office level to years on John L. Scott, Inc.’s executive team, managing field offices and internal departments including marketing, interactive marketing and strategic initiatives.

J. Lennox Scott said it was important he find someone who understood how to actively support the needs of John L. Scott’s 76 franchise offices. In this position, Chung will lead the affiliate organization of John L. Scott, helping grow the affiliate network and providing strategic guidance to its leaders.

Chung first came to the John L. Scott Real Estate family of companies in 2003 as a Broker and Owner of John L. Scott’s Mukilteo office. Over the years, he has also worked on his own business ventures, including a coaching platform for real estate professionals.
Chung has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington.
