Michelle Maida out of the Portland Woodstock office, talked with KGW this week about the summer market in Portland.
In the video she says a common misconception that a lot of sellers and listing agents have about the market in the summer is that it slows down, but that’s not the case!
In fact, more homes are sold between May and August than any other time of year. Michelle also notes that we’re seeing more houses active than pending. It’s a buyer’s market and right now the average day on market in the Portland metro market is 42 days.
