narva copy head digishot (2)Congratulations Narva Walton! Pierce County Executive Bruce Dammeier nominated JLS Tacoma/University Place Office Leader Narva Walton to fill a vacant seat on the Pierce County Housing Authority Board.  On Tuesday, July 18, 2017, that nomination was carried out.

“I look forward to serving as a Commissioner for our county,” said Narva. “I also welcome the opportunity to positively represent the community and affect issues within our housing/real estate industry.”

Unknown-1JLS Anacortes’ Managing Broker Allen Workman is one of three candidates running for the Port of Anacortes Commission Position 1 in August. The top two winners will then move on to the general election November 7.

“I am running for Port Commissioner as a continued investment in my community of Anacortes,” he says.  “Along with the other commitments I have made to service clubs and community involvement, I see this as a further extension to those efforts.

As a Port Commissioner, Allen sees the priorities as follows;  1. Economic Development, 2. Asset preservation, meaning the buildings, marinas, airport, et al. 3. Environmental Cleanup and 4. Public Benefit.  

Allen says he is excited to work with the public on how they can direct our activities with Port-owned properties.

We wish Allen good luck on his election.
