Throughout August, the John L. Scott Silverdale office has been collecting school supplies to support students in the Central Kitsap School District, gathering over $65,000 worth of supplies so far! They teamed up with the Kiwanis Club of Silverdale and Bremerton, as well as the school district, to help make it happen. In addition to hosting drop-offs at the office, they also organized community collection sites at the Bremerton Walmart and Silverdale Staples during the first two weeks of the month.
On Thursday, August 14th, a group of brokers volunteered at the Silverdale Staples to help sort, count, and load all the donated supplies into the school bus. Participating brokers included Vivienne Vanichkul, Villa MacNealy, the Kathy Berndtson Home Team (Stacy Lynch and LuAnn Smith), and Judy Reets.
