Brokers in the Scappoose and St. Helen’s offices recently got out their craft supplies and created 74 handmade Valentines that were mailed to the local Ronald McDonald House just before Valentine’s Day. The goal of the RMHC Send Love Valentine’s Day Challenge was to collect 10,000 handmade valentines to brighten the walls of the four Ronald McDonald Houses in Oregon.
“When the call to action came out for the need for handmade valentines, Melissa Jaques and Peggy Howell jumped to the task at hand and organized a group of agents and friends to help contribute,” said Cindy Thackery, Office Leader for the Scappoose, St. Helens and Sunset Corridor offices. “We are going to have glitter coming out of our floors for months, but it was an absolute blast and for a great cause.”
