The John L. Scott Young Professionals Network (YPN) recently volunteered their time cooking dinner for the Seattle Ronald McDonald House. On Tuesday, January 21, Estelle Erhardt and Kyle Bauer of the Seattle NE office, Hunter Evans from the Bellevue-Issaquah office and Martin Morales from Bellevue Main, along with YPN co-founder and chair Savannah Scott, prepared 150 KFC bowls with chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and cookies for dessert.
“Volunteering at Ronald McDonald house is a valued event to our members to not only get to know each other but to also help the families struggling during the hardest times in their lives,” said Savannah. “Although restrictions keep us from serving the families post 2020, it is still a great way to re-connect with the community and see the positive difference the JLS footprint has been able to make over the years.”
