Brokers from the John L. Scott Skagit and Anacortes offices recently volunteered their time at the Helping Hands Food Bank in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. A group of 13 brokers, as well as family and friends, assembled hundreds of C.H.O.W. for children in the community and then prepped the grocery area for distribution later that afternoon.
C.H.O.W. stands for Cutting Hunger on Weekends/Backpack Program, which delivers food to over 800+ children each week in Skagit County.
“At John L. Scott, we choose to live by the philosophy of making a meaningful contribution to the world around us,” shared John L. Scott Skagit office owner Dani Baird Russell. “As Lennox Scott often emphasizes, ‘Our business is real estate, but our philosophy is living life as a contribution.’ We wholeheartedly put our values into action and embodied this very philosophy!”
