Joe Bauman, a broker out of John L. Scott’s Tacoma University Place office, recently collaborated with his mother Arline Bauman to produce face masks for officers from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Dept. Joe is close friends with deputy and PIO Ed Troyer and after offering up a handful of masks his mother was making with her sewing machine, Ed expressed interest in black face masks with a thin blue line across for more officers.
At this time, Arline (who is a professional seamstress) has made close to 100 face masks, and Joe said they have supplies to make 100+ more. Joe has been connecting locally and is now getting masks to City of Auburn police and throughout the Pierce County Sheriff Dept. Arline also now has thin red line masks for the Fire Dept. and Hawaiian print masks which are a tribute to her Japanese Hawaiian heritage.
