Every year, the city of Saint Helens, Oregon holds the Spirit of Halloweentown parade, which kicks off a month of festivities in the city where the movie Halloweentown was filmed. Saint Helens is also the county seat of Columbia County and where the upcoming Scappoose office extension will be located! This year the John L. Scott Scappoose office created a float, dressed in costumes and walked the parade route – leading to winning two first-place prizes – Peoples Choice and Best Theme.
The Scappoose office also won the first place in the Best Group category last year – and this year, they went all out with a Wizard of Oz theme, complete with all the major characters from the movie and more! The 30+ office members and family members had a blast getting in character for the parade, and already have their plan for the 2020 parade in the works.
