John L. Scott Lake Stevens remembers co-owner Gary Mose

John L. Scott Lake Stevens co-owner Gary Mose

John L. Scott Lake Stevens co-owner Gary Mose passed away in early May from cancer and its complications. After an eventful early life that involved sports, coaching, and teaching, Gary retired from teaching to launch a second career in real estate. This eventually led him to become a broker-owner at the John L. Scott Lake Stevens office, where he was a partner with one of his former players and longtime friend, Larry Lian. His son Kyle later joined him at the office as a broker.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Gary’s family, friends and colleagues,” said John L. Scott Chairman & CEO J. Lennox Scott. “We have worked together for many decades promoting home ownership, supporting our broker associates and practicing transactional excellence with our clients.”

In lieu of flowers and to honor his name, please consider a donation to Old Dog Haven (P.O. Box 1409, Oak Harbor, WA 98277) or a memorial to Hospice. A celebration of his life was held at Silvana Viking Hall in Stanwood on May 31.
