The John L. Scott Foundation is a premier sponsor of the Auction of Washington Wines Picnic & Barrel Auction on Aug. 16, and tickets are on sale now! The Auction is part of what Auction of Washington Wines refers to as “Washington’s premier charitable wine weekend,” August 16 – 18.
Details about the picnic and barrel auction on Aug 16: The kickoff to the weekend of events where you’ll have the opportunity to meet and mingle with Washington winemakers and choose from over 100 wines to taste. Extraordinary bites are provided by Tulalip Resort Casino’s acclaimed restaurants and showcase dishes seasoned with inventive culinary twists. For the competitive wine collector, you’ll have the chance to bid on one-of-a-kind wines in the Barrel Auction. It all happens on the lovely concert grounds at Chateau Ste. Michelle winery. The partnership with the Auction of Washington Wines is one of many co-sponsored events the The John L. Scott Foundation participates in annually to help raise money to help kids get healthy and be at home. In 2017, the Foundation helped sponsor 35 events, which helped raise over 15 million for children’s healthcare. Additionally, John L. Scott volunteers served 42 dinners for Ronald McDonald Charities.
