In the year’s third quarter, as the supply of homes for sale remained slim, would-be buyers turned their attention to the suburbs.
Using data from the Regional Multiple Listing Service, we compared how many homes were on the market at the beginning of October with the number sold during the three months prior to determine the 15 most in-demand neighborhoods this fall.
We found that it’s mostly suburban settings that are seeing high demand and fewer homes on the market.
