Bobbie Chipman, John L. Scott Puyallup Main Office Leader, was elected to the position of 2018 Vice President-elect of Operations for the Washington REALTORS® at the 2017 Spring Business Conference. As a very active volunteer in Washington REALTORS* and the Tacoma/Pierce County Association of Realtors, Bobbie has an extensive history of involvement in real estate industry organizations and issues.
Bobbie Chipman has been involved in the REALTOR® Association on many levels. She’s held local office positions such as President, Vice President, Committee Chair, and Local Director. At the state level, Chipman has held a Director position since 2013, she’s been committee chair for both the Education Sub-Committee and Professional Standards committees, and has sat on multiple committees, including many Strategic Planning groups, Presidential Advisory groups, leadership groups and is the local instructor for the REALTOR* Code of Ethics training
Chipman’s role as Vice President of the Operations Committee will include chairing the Operations Committee meetings, which includes overseeing any motions to amend the Washington REALTORS® bylaws, forming special committees and task forces, and helping Washington REALTORS® to accomplish the objectives of their strategic plan.
Bobbie Chipman will serve as 2018 Vice President-elect of the Operations Committee and as the 2018 Vice President of Operations in 2019.
