How was JLS impacted?
Thankfully we acted quickly and we have no indication or reports of any compromised systems in our data center or service center.
As on ongoing basis, we have a process to patch our systems in the data center as well as an aggressive backup strategy for all corporate systems and data.
How can you protect yourself?
- Make sure you have a reputable antivirus and firewall
- Backup your data often – Look at cloud services like Dropbox or Carbonite
- Keep your operating system and other software updated
- Be wary of unexpected emails, especially if they contain links and/or attachments
