Three additional John L. Scott offices in Kitsap County hold food drives

Brokers and staff from John L. Scott’s Silverdale office recently held a food drive for the Central Kitsap Food Bank. Pictured are two volunteers who helped orchestrate the two-day drive, which amounted to 3,823 pounds of food and $6,137 in cash donations.

Three John L. Scott offices in Kitsap County – Bainbridge Island, Kingston and Silverdale recently held food drives supporting local organizations. We previously shared information about the John L. Scott Poulsbo drive, and these three additional drives brought total local contributions to new heights. In all, these four offices donated a whopping 8,961.2 pounds of food and $15,857 in cash donations! Next up, the Port Orchard John L. Scott office will hold a food drive in mid-May.

The 13 volunteers from John L. Scott’s Bainbridge Island office set up shop in a local Safeway parking lot with a goal to fill a van from local company PacWesty each day of the weekend drive. They met their goal and gathered 1834.2 pounds of food and toiletries as well as $4,120 in monetary donations, all going toward Helpline House.

John L. Scott’s Kingston office came together to orchestrate a food drive supporting ShareNet Food Bank recently. Their efforts resulted in 2,359 pounds of food and over $2,500 given to ShareNet to support those in need locally.

More than 25 brokers helped out with John L. Scott Silverdale’s recent weekend drive for the Central Kitsap Food Bank. Their efforts were supported by local businesses JohnnyBoy’s Food Service, Oxford Suites and Spiros Restaurant. At the end of the event, the Silverdale office was able to collect 3,823 pounds of food and a total of $6,137 in monetary donations.
